Country singer Taylor Swift scooped up Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for her record-breaking pop collection 1989. But the night's big winner was rapper Kendrick Lamar, the voice of the Black Lives Matter movement, who won five awards including Best Rap Album for To Pimp a Butterfly, Rap Performance, Rap Song, Rap/Sung performance and Music Video

But the night's big winner was rapper Kendrick Lamar, the voice of the Black Lives Matter movement, who won five awards including Best Rap Album for To Pimp a Butterfly, Rap Performance, Rap Song, Rap/Sung performance and Music Video.
