Milan: Canadian popstar Justin Bieber led the pack of winners at the 2015 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA) in Milan on October 25, reports aceshowbiz.com.

The 21-year-old singer dominated the winners' list with the five awards he won in various categories, including Best Male, Best Look and North America's Worldwide Act.

"It's been a long couple of years. I just feel like this is pretty awesome to be recognised for my music," Justin said while accepting the Best Male honour.

He also took home the Best Collaboration trophy for his hit Where Are U Now?, featuring Skrillex and Diplo.

Thanks to his massive fan following that he additionally achieved the Biggest Fans Award following a tough battle against bands like One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer and solo competitors like singer Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. The British singer, who also co-hosted the show, bagged two awards for Best Live Act and Best World Stage. Shawn won two honours as well in the categories - the Best Push and Best New Act.

Meanwhile, Duran Duran was honoured with the first ever MTV Video Visionary Award.

"Music lovers around the world, when we started, there was us and MTV and we blazed a trail and we were there for each other," said member Simon Le Bon as he took the stage alongside bandmates Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor.
