New Delhi:
The first song from Sonakshi Sinha's upcoming movie
Akira,
Rajj Rajj Ke, is a graphical representation of the turmoil inside her character's soul. Sung by the 29-year-old actress herself,
Rajj Rajj Ke released on Wednesday evening. Sonakshi made her debut as a singer with her single
Aaj Mood Ishqholic Hai in 2015.
Sonakshi, who plays the titular Akira in the action film, introduced her character with phrases "No one will be forgiven" and "She will fight back" earlier in June. In the song, the same words feature on the walls of what looks like a dungeon, where the video is set. Sonakshi, who appears hurt and in a destructive mood, smashes almost everything around her.
Sonakshi
plays the role of a student who has shifted cities - from Jodhpur to Mumbai - in
Akira. The film also stars filmmaker-actor Anurag Kashyap as a corrupt cop and actress Konkona Sen Sharma in a key role.
Composed by Vishal and Shekhar,
Rajj Rajj Ke has lyrics by Kumaar.

Akira will mark Sonakshi's second collaboration with director A R Murugadoss, who previously made
Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty with the actress and Akshay Kumar.
Akira also stars Sonakshi's father, actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha, and releases on September 2.
Sonakshi Sinha, 29, was last seen in 2015's
Tevar. She also featured in a song in
All Is Well. Her upcoming films are
Force 2, co-starring John Abraham, and Noor, in which she plays a journalist.
