His work clothes were a three piece suit, accessorised with the coffee mug!, while his Chennai Express co-star Deepika Padukone gave everyone style envy in a green Rachel Roy jumpsuit.
Also seen arriving at the same time at the same studio was superstar Salman Khan.
We are not sure if Shah Rukh and Salman ran into each other but if they did, they may have repeated the now-famous iftar party hug.
Cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni and wife Sakshi were also seen arriving at Mehboob Studio on the same day.
And, clearly, all Bollywood roads lead to Mehboob Studio. Earlier in the day, actor John Abraham was also spotted shooting at the studio.
From the fake blood on John's face, we deduce he'd shot a fight sequence.
