A gala night was in order as actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha threw a spectacular reception party for his son Kussh and daughter-in-law Taruna Agarwal in Mumbai on December 19.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was at the wedding, did not attend but Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Uddhav Thackeray, Rekha and Kajol did, among many others. Kussh married Taruna in a private ceremony on January 18.
Superstar Rajinikanth came with his elder daughter Aishwaryaa R Dhanush, who was dressed elegantly in a pale embellished sari.
Shatrughan Sinha's friend and Shaan co-star Amitabh Bachchan and his wife, actress-politician Jaya Bachchan, attended the reception minus their son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai.
The Thackerays were there in full strength. Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray came with his wife Rashmi and son Aditya, who leads the youth wing of the party.
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray was seen with his wife Sharmila.
Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis attended with his wife Amruta.
The groom's sister Sonakshi Sinha wore a pale pink lehenga with a mirrorwork choli from the shelves of designer Manish Malhotra. A maang-tika and matching jhumkis accessorized her look.
Actress Rekha wore one of her gold kanjeevarams, festooned with jewels and flowers.
Actress Kajol wore an embellished beige and maroon sari by her favourite designer, Sabyasachi.
Actor Vivek Oberoi came with his wife Priyanka, who looked elegant in a sari.
