Actor Rajinikanth's much-awaited film Kabali released on Friday. But before it hit screens, it's not just his fans who were on the edge but also family. On Thursday, actor Dhanush, who is married to the 65-year-old actor's younger daughter Aishwaryaa, tweeted a special poster of Kabali.
The poster features a graphic representation of Rajinikanth's two looks in Kabali. So, make way for Thalaivaa.
Aishwaryaa also can't wait.
Rajinikanth is currently in USA and, with Aishwaryaa, visited the Satchidananda Ashram, also known as Yogaville, in Virginia on July 17.
On July 14, Rajinikanth's elder daughter Soundarya applied for a Kabali leave.
Kabali stars Rajinikanth as a Malaysia-based mafia boss and he plays both the younger and older versions of the character. Directed by Pa Ranjith, the film also stars Radhika Apte and Hong Kong actor Winston Chao.
Kabali released worldwide on Friday in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. Many cinemas in Bengaluru and Chennai opened bookings last weekend and shows were sold out promptly. The film also screens in 1,000 cinemas in North India and 400 theatres in USA.
