"Marathi films have increased their level nowadays. For example, Chaitanya Tamhane's Court is a fantastic film. Fandry released last year. If something good comes my way, then why not? I will surely do it," Irrfan said at the trailer launch of Deepak Kadam's Waakya

Actor Irrfan Khan said that he wants to work in Marathi films.
"Marathi films have increased their level nowadays. For example, Chaitanya Tamhane's Court is a fantastic film. Fandry released last year. If something good comes my way, then why not? I will surely do it," Irrfan said at the trailer launch of Deepak Kadam's Waakya.
Regarding the subject of Waakya, Irrfan said: "I think Waakya has an interesting plot. It can engage people. It tells a story about emotional crisis. Indian films are becoming extremely subject-oriented. 10 years ago, things were different."
Waakya features Master Panshul Kamod and Priyanka Dnyanlaxmi in pivotal roles.
