New Delhi: Karthi's distinctive look as an armed warrior in upcoming film Kaashmora has sent fans into a frenzy, so much so that it remains a talking point even weeks after release. So, imagine our excitement when the actor unveiled his second look from the film on Wednesday night.

Trust us, it is nothing like the first look the actor donned. This time, his name is 'Kaashmora,' but he's hardly fantastical. In fact, this look is closer to how we've see Karthi before, except that it seems to resemble another popular fiction character, Johnny Depp as pirate caption Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Carribbean series, although he plays a black-magic healer.

The look was tweeted by the actor himself:

Of course, fans would be disappointed after August 18 brought the menacing first look where the actor was unrecognizable as 'Rajnayak', standing amidst hoard of dead bodies. Apparently, Karthi will be modulating his voice for the role.

Nonetheless, the second look and the fact that as soon as it was released, Kaashmora became a talking point on the Internet proves how much anticipating surrounds it. Now, fans would eagerly await the third look of Karthi's, as it is rumoured that he will be playing three characters in the supernatural historical thriller.

Meanwhile, the film also stars actress Nayanthara, who's look as queen Rathnamahadevi was revealed earlier today by the makers, proves that we can expect something powerful from her. Reports suggest that Nayanthara also plays three characters in the film, this being one of them.

Also starring Sri Divya in a pivotal role, Kaashmora is written and directed by Gokul. The album will be scored by current favourite Santhosh Narayanan who has previously worked on Kabali and Dhanush's Kodi.

The trailer and audio of the film will be out on Friday, October 7.

Meanwhile, Karthi also has a film with Mani Ratnam opposite Aditi Rao Hydari.
