Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu, riding on the success of superstar Rajinikanth's Tamil film Kabali, is producing his daughter Soundarya's next yet-untitled film.
In an official statement, the team has announced it has begun the casting process and is keen on roping in newcomers. Soundarya, who recently announced that she's separated from her husband Ashwin Ramkumar, has already begun pre-production work on the project.
Soundarya debuted as director with Tamil film Kochadaiiyaan, India's first motion capture 3D film. It co-starred Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. Soundarya has also produced Tamil comedy Goa.
