The shooting of Suriya's Tamil film Singam 3, which was supposed to start last week in Vishakhapatnam, has been delayed indefinitely due to the grave situation caused by heavy downpour in Tamil Nadu.
"The shooting had to be called off due to the rains. Furthermore, Suriya sir was stuck in Indonesia last week as he couldn't return to the city because of the bad weather. Hence, we decided to delay the shoot," a source from the film's unit told IANS. (Also Read: Suriya's Singam 3 to Be Shot Across Four Continents)
The source added that it might take a while for the film to go on floors.
"Everybody is busy volunteering, including Suriya sir, whose house here was inundated with knee-deep water. This may take a few weeks or even months," the source said.
To be directed by Hari, the film is the third part in the successful Singam franchise. The film also stars Anushka Shetty and Shruti Haasan.
Harris Jayaraj has been roped in to compose the music for the film, which is being produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment.
