  • The Indian version of the hit espionage series will be telecast on the small screen from October 4 on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • It stars Anil Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, Mandira Bedi, Neil Bhoopalam among others, while Shabana Azmi, Anupam Kher, Rahul Khanna will be seen in cameo appearances. The show is written by Rensil D'Silva and directed by Abhinay Deo of Delhi Belly fame.
  • "We are planning a second season but it is so hectic just to complete a day's shooting (of first season). And we are shooting for 40 days or so. We will be shooting it (second season) by end of November," Rensil said.
  • "I feel every season has its own story line. The second season of the international version was about a nuclear strike on LA so we can have something like a strike on Bombay. I feel if we go in order, then characters grow in order. So we will adopt season two but with our ethos," he said.
  • When asked about the second season of the show, Anil Kapoor, who has been instrumental in bringing this show back home, said, "We are doing the second season but haven't thought much about it because we are first waiting for audience reaction."
  • Meanwhile, Rensil says he would love to direct the second season provided he is asked to do it.
  • "I love this show a lot. I had more fun doing this show than doing a feature film," he said.
  • This is for the first time that Rensil, who is also co-producing the show, has been associated with the small screen and he had great fun doing the show.
  • "I was always willing to do something on small screen. Abhinay Deo is an old friend, we go back to the advertising days, we worked together on and off for the last ten years. I have known Anil Kapoor for quite some time, so that is how things worked out. I am a fan of this show and loved to be a part of it," he said.
  • When asked if it was difficult to make the desi version of the hit American show, Rensil said they had their challenges.
  • "It is difficult because lot of Indians find American shows cold... the emotion quotient that you look for isn't there. So we had to dramatise a bit for Indian version and change a lot," he said.
  • The season one of the original show had presidential candidate track, which has been adapted differently for the local verison.
  • "From episode 12 we have changed completely, so if you see the season one of international version and ours, it is different," he added.
