Anurag Basu: TV more difficult than making films

Anurag Basu’s last release Barfi! was critically acclaimed and featured Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead.

  • "I belong to TV. I was born here as a director. Sometimes I get jealous that there were no award functions like this in our time," said Anurag Basu.
  • "We did so much hard work in TV and never got an award," he added.

  • Currently, Basu is busy co-judging the children's talent show, India's Best Dramebaaz on Zee TV along with actors Sonali Bendre and Vivek Oberoi.
