Asha Parekh doesn't like women being tortured on television shows

  • Apart from the daily soaps, the reality shows do interest her a lot, especially the dance shows. "I do follow reality shows like Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa. I loved Madhuri Dixit. She is an excellent dancer. I am also seeing Nach Baliye and I am loving it. I love to see dance shows." Asha Parekh said.

I feel we have taken over foreign dance and forgot about our dance forms. It makes me very upset. We have wonderful folk dances... all states have different state dance forms. I wish our folk dances come in the fore." She added.
