This season, Bigg Boss is twisting his own rules about keeping contestants secluded from the world outside. After actors Sonali Raut and Gautam Gulati were sent out of the house on a shopping trip, the housemates were given licence to invite friends into the house for a party.
Wild card contestant Dimpy Mahajan must have had a rude shock to find her ex-husband Rahul Mahajan at the party, invited by Gautam Gulati.
In a sneak peek of the party episode, which will be aired on December 10, Dimpy seems slightly perturbed by Rahul's presence in the house. Rahul, who appeared on season two of Bigg Boss, was spotted mingling with the other guests and later took the party to the pool, which is when Dimpy reportedly confronted her ex-husband.
Rahul told Times of India that he wasn't going to the house party for Dimpy: "I am going for my friend Gautam Gulati." He also said, "We (Dimpy and I) are on cordial terms. It would have been a little awkward if she had invited me. My tips will be exclusively for Gautam. Dimpy is playing her game and I wouldn't want to comment whether it's good or bad. I wish her all the luck."
Rahul married Dimpy on TV reality show Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega in 2010. The couple then appeared in a string of reality shows including Nach Baliye 5 in 2012. Later, they began appearing separately on shows, fuelling rumours of relationship trouble.
Dimpy also accused Rahul of being violent. The estranged couple reportedly filed for divorce this year, though neither have officially acknowledged this and insist that they remain on 'cordial' terms.
Other celebrity guests at the party included Pankaj and Nikitin Dheer, Raza Murad, Firoz Khan, Sambhavna Seth, Suchitra Pillai, Kashmira Shah, Vindu Dara Singh, RJ Malishka and Mantra.
