Rekha and Salman dance to the tune of Dagabaaz Re on the sets of Bigg Boss
It was an unexpected sort of romance of the when Bollywood's evergreen beauty Rekha made an appearance on the reality show Bigg Boss 8 to promote her film Super Nani, set to release in the first week of November.
The duo proceeded to flirt with each other and shower each other with compliments. Rekhaji and Salman talked about his childhood when he used to be her neighbor, and used to attend her yoga classes just to see her. The actor also suggested flirtatiously that she should be playing a heroine and not a 'grandmother' on-screen to which she replied that it was him who approached her to play his on-screen mother in Dabangg 2.
Salman and Rekhaji proceeded to jive to the song Dagabaaz Re from the same film. After the performance Rekhaji revealed more fun facts from his childhood.
After that she performed the famous dialogue from Dabangg, Thappad Se Darr Nahee Lagta with a small twist. She said, "Thappad Se Darr Nahee Lagta, Big B (a cheeky quip may be) se, Bigg Boss se lagta hai."
While Salman was on his knees pleading her not to, she continued to reveal more details from his childhood. She revealed that she always considered him her 'Maan-baba'. This included him following her around on his bicycle during her morning jogs and him telling his parents that he wanted to marry Rekhaji.
Salman took a jibe at her saying, "Isiliye meri shaadi nahee hui" blaming her for him still being a bachelor. But the veteran actress returned the favour by saying, "Shayad isiliye meine shaadi nahee ki".
Salman also revealed the poster from his first film Biwi Ho Toh Aisi where Rekhaji played the title role.
After another performance on 18 Baras Ki Tu from Suhaag (1979) she proceeded to interact with the Bigg Boss contestants.
