The plot thickens in the
Bigg Boss 8 love story featuring actor Gautam Gulati and model Diandra Soares. At the house party that
Bigg Boss allowed the contestants to have recently, Diandra was seen deep in conversation with actresses Sambhavna Seth and Kashmera Shah, both alumni of the reality show, who were among the celebrity guests invited to the party from outside the house.
Sambhavna was there at Gautam's invitation and Diandra asked Kashmera. It seems now that Sambhavna arrived at the party on a specific mission which was to warn Gautam away from Diandra on the grounds that the budding romance was jeopardizing his "reputation" outside.
Gautam and Diandra made headlines for their "bathroom" escapade , which was followed by Diandra boldly kissing the actor on camera. The aftermath of these public displays of affection seems to have spilled onto Twitter with Sambhavna and Kashmera taking different sides.
Sambhavna, who is a close friend of Gautam's, advised him to stay away from Diandra saying that
Bigg Boss is a "mind game" and should not be played with one's heart worn on one's sleeve. Gautam told her that he was not in love with Diandra and neither was she in love with him. He further said, "We are just friends."
Sambhavna says that before coming to the
Bigg Boss party, she spoke to Gautam's mother who also shared her misgivings about the fledgling relationship. She tweeted:
Meanwhile, Kashmera, who is Diandra's friend, is shocked and disappointed with Gautam's reluctance to own up to his acts. She doesn't seem to agree with Sambhavna that Diandra and Gautam are just friends, saying that if Diandra did not "like" him she wouldn't have taken him into the bathroom or kissed him in front of everyone. Kashmera supports the "relationship," questioning Sambhavna's apprehensions about Diandra and Gautam getting along.
Sambhavna and Kashmera had a slight tiff at the party as they continued rooting for their respective friends, and the argument continues on Twitter.
Sambhavana tweeted that Diandra is using Gautam and that they are a complete "mismatch".
To which Kashmera replied:
In a series of tweets, Kashmera also says that she is "disappointed" in the lack of courage Gautam has shown when it comes to acknowledging a relationship with Diandra.
She tweeted, "When I told Gautam that I really liked that he was in love with Diandra he refused and said there was nothing. So disappointed that he lied. I believe in love and I hate it when people can't man up. How can Gautam tell me that Diandra and he are just friends. I have never shared a shower with a friend I later told Diandra that I was proud of her. At least she is the one wearing pants in this relationship. I believe in love and am I the only one left that believes in love."
However, Sambhavna is clear that Gautam and Diandra are not a good match. She also says that Diandra "pushed" Gautam inside the washroom.
Meanwhile, it seems Sambhavna has been successful in her mission to "bring Gautam to his senses," saying that Gautam has promised her that he will keep his distance from Diandra henceforth.
