Aashka and Brent met at an event in the US, soon after the
Kkusum actress ended her 10-year-old relationship with Rahul. Aashka rejects the notion that she's dating Brent on the rebound. "We aren't teenagers anymore to speak of rebounds. I firmly believe that as we grow, we become more aware and capable of handling our emotions and life. Love is an individual experience, and rebound has nothing to do with it. Meanwhile, Aashka also said that she is not relocating to Las Vegas, where Brent is a weapons instructor and range safety officer. "Brent is moving to India, bag and baggage, just to be with me. So, there is a lot to settle in before the big step. When we do take the plunge, we would certainly be happy to let the world know," said Aashka.
"He has been practising yoga for 10 years and is keen to learn more about our culture. I was quite surprised to see a Ganpati idol on the door of his house and Lord Shiva and Buddha's idols inside," Aashka told
