Celebrity couple Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya are currently contesting on dance reality show Nach Baliye 8 and Vivek, speaking to news agency PTI, said that "time will tell" who has better skills on the dancefloor. "Honestly, both of us haven't had much exposure to dancing so we will be growing as dancers and only time will tell who is a better dancer as we keep working on ourselves," he said. What Divyanka and Vivek lack in dance experience, they make up is discipline, the actor said. "Dancing, like acting, is a craft and being an actor is about learning every day. We are on field, and our work is our training ground as well. It is the same with dance - there is no reason to lose patience. It's a learning experience for us," Vivek Dahiya told PTI.
Divyanka Tripathi, 32, and Vivek Dahiya, 32, have been married less than a year. "Priorities change but luckily my partner is from the same industry and hence we both understand the work culture and hours. Both of us look forward to our evenings and spending time with each other post work," Vivek told PTI. The actors, who met on the sets of TV show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, married in July last year.
The couple are among the favourites on Nach Baliye 8. Their Yeh Hai Mohabbatein producer Ekta Kapoor has been publicly rooting for them, as has much of Twitter. The Nach Baliye line-up also includes: Sanaya Irani and Mohit Sehgal; Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim; Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa; Monalisa and Vikrant Singh Rajpoot; Aashka Goradia and Brent Globe; Pritam Singh and Amanjjot Siingh; Sanam Johar and Abigail Pande; Siddhartha Jadhav and Trupti Akkalwar and Utkarsha Naik and Manoj Verma. Sonakshi Sinha is among the judges.
