Actor Salman Khan said that he is responsible for his troubles in life.
"I do not think there has been anyone who has troubled me. If anybody is responsible for my troubles it is -- my luck, destiny and me. It is my journey," said Salman.
Salman will soon host the ninth season of Bigg Boss.
The actor, who will host the show for the sixth time, also credited his family, friends and the media for giving him the courage to move forward. He has often shared his personal experiences with the contestants, and at times, has taken a tough stand to deal with certain events in the house.(Also Read: Salman Khan: Shah Rukh is More Than Welcome on Bigg Boss 9)
"I get a lot of criticism for getting into the things because it is not my space. It gives me immense pleasure in guiding the contestants in the right direction. Sometimes I think, why should I tell them, but then if they cross the limit, it is not entertainment anymore," added Salman.
"Mr Amitabh Bachchan did not react to whatever happened in the house, but I get involved with these people and most of them (contestants) remain in touch with me after the show as well," said Salman.
The actor also said that he had considered quitting the show after being criticized.
"After you work for three months, you get exhausted and everything keeps on coming in your head, but then there is a long association with the show, huge connect with contestants inside as well as the whole team and then you start missing the whole thing after a certain while," he added.
The theme of Bigg Boss 9 is 'double trouble'.
"I did not agree with the theme. The team later explained the concept to me and I thought that it was funny and even asked them to add something else with the 'double', but the team wanted 'double trouble', so I went ahead with it," said Salman.
The show will be aired from October 11.
