Vivian told Hindustan Times in an interview: "It's personal, and I would like to keep it personal. We are adults, who are mature and [were] married for more than three years. Vivian and Vahbiz, 30, met on the sets of 2010 television show Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, inspired by Robert Pattinson and Kirsten Stewart's Twilight series. After dating for three years, they married in 2013.

After the show ended, Vivan Dsena played the lead in Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, opposite actress Drashti Dhami. He also participated in reality shows Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8 and Fear Factor.

The actor, who currently plays the lead in Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, doesn't let his personal life affect his professional commitments. "I believe in keeping my personal and professional lives separate. I leave my personal issues at home. I don't take my work home either. But, at the end of the day, we are all human beings, and it is tough to keep these lives separate all the time. It (personal turmoil) remains with you subconsciously. But that doesn't mean you let your work get affected," Vivian said.
