New Delhi: Singer Arijit Singh is reportedly all set to replace rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh on reality TV show India's Raw Star.

The 29-year-old singer will judge the second season of the show, reported Mumbai Mirror.

The first season, which aired in 2014, saw an early exit of rapper Honey Singh due to health issues. Music-composer Himesh Reshammiya took over the reins thereafter. And it seems the makers have no plans of getting 33-year-old rapper or Himesh back.

"It's a new show with a new concept and will have Arijit throw challenges that have more to do with singing than performing as he scouts for new talent. He will also mentor and groom the contestants to find the winner. While the team was contemplating a new name for the show, Arijit insisted that they retain the original one as he feels it resonates with him and his journey as a singer," a source told Mumbai Mirror.

The daily also reported that the digital auditions of the show will be open for both Indian and International contestants. The auditions will start from August 16 and will go on till September 2.

Rituraj Mohanty was declared the winner of the first season on November 30, 2014.
