According to a source close to him, Irrfan could not be a part of Jazbaa premiere and a planned screening for Talvar due to his ill-health . He had to skip the screening of Talvar, a movie based on the 2008 murder case of 14-year-old Aarushi Talwar and her family's domestic servant Hemraj, for which he had invited Deepika Padukone on Wednesday night
Talvar is based on the Aarushi Talwar murder case. It premiered under the title of Guilty at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The film features Konkona Sen Sharma, Irrfan Khan and Neeraj Kabi in pivotal roles and has been written by Vishal Bhardwaj
