Kaatru Veliyidai is Mani Ratnam's new film being shot in Ooty with Southern actor Suriya's brother Karthi and Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari playing the lead roles. Karthi is reportedly playing a pilot. Now Balaji has been roped in to play the role of the hero's friend

"I am dying to do a film that is based on dance. I want to use my dance skills. I am a trained dancer. Wazir is obviously not about dance but a thriller mystery. I would love to do a film that is about dance, as I love to dance. I don't want to be stuck in a box as versatility is very important for me," said Aditi Rao Hydari
The teaser of the film features not just a wheelchair-bound Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan as a special operative of some sort but also actress Aditi Rao Hydari in various stages of distress
The actress says that we should not look down on her for it but instead get together and support her
