Aditi Rao Hydari, who is awaiting the release of Kaatru Veliyidai, directed by Mani Ratnam, said her life-long dream to work with the filmmaker has come true

Aditi Rao Hydari made her debut in Bollywood with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Delhi 6 in 2008. She has featured in films like Yeh Saali Zindagi, Rockstar, Guddu Rangeela and Wazir

"Regardless of what I would say, people will still talk. I don't want to comment," Farhan told PTI when asked about the alleged link-ups. After Farhan and Adhuna separated, gossip mills were abuzz with growing romance between Farhan and his Wazir co-star Aditi. Later, he was linked to Kalki Koechlin

"Male actors are not criticised for the fluctuation in their weight and that shows how we look at women when they are onscreen or in normal life. This mentality needs to change. We are all here because we are creative and talented," said Aditi Rao Hydari, who was recently seen in Wazir, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar

"I am dying to do a film that is based on dance. I want to use my dance skills. I am a trained dancer. Wazir is obviously not about dance but a thriller mystery. I would love to do a film that is about dance, as I love to dance. I don't want to be stuck in a box as versatility is very important for me," said Aditi Rao Hydari

"When I say I'm an outsider, I mean that my family is not from the industry. There are so many people who struggle to get into the industry and being that outsider, I am working with really good people," Aditi said

"I don't have a big production house, big director or a big actor backing me. I am taking things step by step. I came from outside. I knew nobody. I don't know how to play the game. I can't think of schemes or ways to put myself ahead of others or back stab somebody," said Aditi Rao Hydari

Recently, the Censor Board was criticised for cutting short kissing scenes between actor Daniel Craig and his leading ladies in the 24th James Bond film SPECTRE. Thus, to avoid any issues, the scenes were cut from Wazir by the filmmakers themselves

"The emotional thrust of this film is the most effective thing and that is something which will remain with you. It depicts the love story of two friends, and that is something you'll remember about this film once you watch it," said Farhan Akhtar. Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, Wazir also features Amitabh Bachchan and Aditi Rao Hydari

They used to ask me to wear black socks and draw marks on them. My feet used to be tied. I did not think that it was really cumbersome. It adds to your performance," said Big B
