Sunanda, the wife of veteran filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan, died at a hospital in Mumbai, the family said on Wednesday. She was undergoing cancer treatment at a hospital in Mumbai. The couple has a daughter, Aswathi, who is a cop serving in the Indian Police Service (IPS) and is currently posted in Mumbai along with her husband
"The FTII has contributed hundreds of directors and technicians and has played an important role in the Indian film industry. People with wrong ideas will be disastrous for the institution" the distinguished filmmaker said
