Aishwarya Rai's upcoming film Sarbjit is all set to be screened tonight at the prestigious film festival. A press conference with Aishwarya has been scheduled on May 15.
Aishwarya's delayed departure has been due to her new film Sarbjit, which she has been busy promoting. She will walk the red carpet on May 13 and May 14
Sarbjit will be screened on May 14 and a press conference with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will also be held on May 15, read a statement.

"It was a matter of great joy that I found my brother in Randeep. In the film, he is not just a hero, but also my brother. When I had come on the first day, he was given a shot in a small room. I actually felt that my sher is sitting in that room," said Dalbir Kaur
Sarbjit is slated to release on May 20 and Aishwarya will be giving the glamorous charity event a miss, as her commitments towards promoting Sarbjit will bring her back to India, read a statement
"The experience has been different year after year. It has been 15 years and I am thankful to L'Oreal for this. It's a great exchange of ideas with different people you meet. I am glad that I got an opportunity to share my thoughts and work at this prestigious festival," said Aishwarya
"We have to wait for the last 10 days to announce but that would have been the perfect platform to share the film. Somehow, it is coinciding with the final week with Cannes," said Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
"I don't think cinema needs to be localised. That has always been my attitude," said Aishwarya, who has starred in international projects like Bride & Prejudice, Pink Panther 2, Mistress of Spices and Provoked
"When Omung Kumar(director of the film) came to me with the subject, it was an immediate yes. How can we walk away from telling such a story?" Ash said at the launch of Sarbjit's trailer
Aishwarya, while shooting for a scene, had to run frantically through some lanes filled up with mud, stones and cow dung and her footwear broke. But the actress decided to shoot the scene barefoot. Her feet were bruised by the end of the shoot
