Akshara Haasan said that she imbibed a valuable learning for her film journey from her Shamitabh co-stars
It's the lethal combo of Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and South star Dhanush who are likely to rule the box office with their much-awaited film Shamitabh
"I really worked hard," said Akshara
Dhanush said that his biggest challenge was to do justice to Mr Bachchan's voice
"The younger generation wants to see something different and that's how cinema is progressing," said Mr Bachchan
"If you limit yourself, you can't reach where you can. If there is a requirement for a role, I will do it. Why to limit myself? By limiting yourself, you lose opportunity to prove yourself. So, I don't have any limitations," Akshara said
Akshara Haasan did not have any plans to turn actor but when the offer to star in Shamitabh came her way, she could not say no
"I don't think I can reach the level that my parents have achieved," said Akshara
"My voice is terrible man. I'm not a singer but there are wonderful instruments these days which are called auto-tune and you sing in whatever rubbish manner and you feed it into this beautiful machine and it makes you sound like Frank Sinatra," Big B said
Dhanush says Akshara has the most challenging part in Shamitabh
Dhanush's character is believed to be based on his famous father-in-law. He says it isn't
Shamitabh is a family affair of sorts, as was its music launch. Mr Bachchan stars in the R Balki directed film with Rajinikanth's son-in-law Dhanush and Kamal Haasan's daughter Akshara.
