National Film Awards: Hansal Mehta, who is known for his critically-acclaimed film Aligarh, tweeted that he is getting calls asking if he was 'disappointed' with the film not winning any award this year

"There is something that Hansal Mehta sir is planning. The film is called Simran. It's too early to say anything. I am not allowed to say anything," said Rajkummar Rao
The Shool star mentioned that he feels extremely honoured and also thanked everyone for their love and appreciation. On Twitter Mr Bajpayee wrote: "Thank you for your tremendous appreciation and love. Feeling extremely honoured"
"There was no apprehension in playing the role. Mentally, I was ready to do something risky in terms of people's mind sets. The way actors choose their scripts, there is a lot of insecurity in them as to what will happen but I have been a part of this industry for a long time," said Manoj

The Hansal Mehta-directed Aligarh is based on the life of Professor Shrinivas Ramchandra Siras, who was suspended from his job because of his sexual orientation. Manoj plays the role of Siras, and Rajkummar Rao plays a journalist, who tells Siras' story to the world
"This is Hansal Mehta's idea, we don't want to dirty our city with these posters, and we have been promoting with our own efforts till now, and this is one method to promote the film among the people," Manoj Bajpayee said. The actor plays a gay professor in the Hansal Mehta-directed film
Sanjay Dutt will be released from the prison on February 25. He was charged with illegal possession and destruction of an AK-56 rifle during the 1993 serial blasts. His release comes 103 days ahead of the official end of his prison term on the grounds of 'good conduct'
"It would be unfair to call my films offbeat. Every film which tries to offer something different to the audience should not be labelled. I would suggest watch it like a film and don't label it," said Hansal Mehta
