"Someone recently offered a show to me. It was one and a half year long show and I had to give 25 days a month. It felt as if they were taking away my life from me. It is so difficult to shoot for TV shows," Bipasha said in a statement

Darr Sabko Lagta Hai, which will be airs on &TV starting October 31, will feature 26 short films which have all been directed by different directors. "It's a super concept. The channel is pushing the horror genre to another level because they have made these really amazing short films with all budding directors," said Bipasha

Bipasha said that she did not want to do predictable dance and music reality shows."I didn't want to do the predictable dance and music reality judging show which is also a lot of fun to see. And I think this (horror) is right up my alley. It's my home turf - horror. It's a genre which needs encouragement," she said

"Bipasha will narrate the show. There will be a creative director to oversee the show as a whole. But different directors will helm different episodes. The series is going to be episodic and will see a host of horror stories that will play out week after week," the source said

Bipasha, who has featured in a series of horror films, had said that she is happy with the tag of "horror queen"
