"You have to live through it, make your own sacrifices. You can't keep doing that when there is no support whatsoever. Even if not the industry, if there was government support like they did with the NFDC from the 70s to the 80s," Abhay said.
"He is a lazy talented actor and I often tell him that. He does a film, and then he goes somewhere and then makes a comeback. I told him to keep working and that the directors need him."
"We are shaped by our traditions. With us, it is a little more difficult because we are traditionalist. We have 5000-year-old history which is now almost a part of our DNA. How do you break that? "America, for example, doesn't have that history behind it. It romanticises rebellion. We look down upon rebellion. It's an insult. To think out-of-the-box is looked down upon here," said Abhay
