"I had to jump off train onto the blue metal beside the track on the ground below. As a result, I suffered a ligament tear in my knee. But despite the pain, I completed 3 more days of shoot somehow," Harish said
Originally planned for release much earlier, the project was reportedly delayed due to post-production work involving high-end visual effects
"I was standing on the side of an engine, in a narrow passage of less than a feet width, with the train running at around 180 km per hour. I had to run down the narrow passage and so I couldn't hold onto the railing for support. Moreover, suddenly as I was running, the train reached a bridge. When I glanced down, there was nothing but water miles below," Keerthy said
"I remember the time we were shooting in Rayagada in Odisha. The landscape was pretty stark and scary with lots of dark tunnels through which the train would pass through during shoot. Dhanush had to shoot several of the stunt sequences on the roof of the train during that schedule. One day I saw that Dhanush was having a chair hauled up to the roof of the compartment"
