"I wanted to play like him. But I didn't want to imitate him. I didn't want to consciously pick up those nuances in Dhoni's personality that people immediately identify with him. I wanted my performance to grow organically," said Sushant
Herry said in a statement: "To get into the character of Yuvraj Singh, I had to train for two months. Not only that, I had to also lose 15 kg to look like Yuvraj. Neeraj sir and the production team had hired a dietician who looked after what I ate and made sure I lost the required amount of weight"
"Neeraj sir called me for this film. Before MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, he had never seen any of my films. We had a general 20 minute conversation after which he said, 'Okay, you are selected.' Even I didn't take a chance to ask him why you are taking me," Sushant said
