Esha Gupta said: "Just because we women are expressive and show our softer side with love and affection, does not mean we are not strong."

"There is no one looking out for you and if your film flops, you are not going to get a second chance. I did not have a godfather," said Esha Gupta

"I have lots of friends who are Parsis. One of my best friends in school was a Parsi. My manager is also a Parsi. So I have a lot of Parsi friends and I know people from the community. Therefore, it wasn't a difficult role to portray," Akshay told the media here while promoting Rustom on Monday

Ileana looked particularly excited to be eating 'Rustom appams' for dinner.

"I would really love to do a Hollywood film. I have not tried anything now. Not even given any audition or meeting but I am looking forward to it. I think that's my next plan," Esha

"I am going to take my uniform. And I am not only going to take back. On the contrary, this film is going to give, it is going to save a lot of marriages and is going to stop people from taking divorce, you invest so much into a relationship, so this film is going to tell you what goes into it," said Akshay Kumar

"I think it's a simple reason. I tried to get some good films, but I was not getting good roles. When you are not from this industry, you need to have patience more than talent or anything. It takes time," Esha Gupta said.

"It was not a conscious decision (to take a film after long). I don't think any actor takes one year off just to chill. Unfortunately, for me there were a couple of films I was supposed to do but that didn't work out," said Ileana

"I didn't specially sit down and took books to learn about the navy rules and regulations. I didn't interact with any naval men, only there was one naval officer who was guiding me throughout about how the salute is, how the badges are to be worn, how the uniforms should be and how the walk should be," said Akshay Kumar

Rustom, directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, features Akshay Kumar as naval commander Rustom Pavri, a fictionalised version of K M Nanavati who was tried and acquitted for the murder of his wife's lover

Rustom is based on the famous Nanavati case of 1959 that led to the scrapping of the jury system in India. Akshay's Rustom Pavri is presumably a fictionalized version of Commander Kawas Manekshaw Nanavati, a naval officer who was tried for murdering his wife's lover

Esha Gupta made her debut in 2012 with Jannat 2 opposite Emraan Hashmi. She has featured in films like Raaz 3D, Chakravyuh, Humshakals and Baby. Currently, she is filming Hera Pheri 3 and will also star in Neeraj Pandey's Rustom which casts Akshay Kumar and Ileana D'Cruz

"Happy Ending is not the end of my career, so don't worry. I am coming back. In August my film Rustom is coming up with Akshay Kumar. So fingers crossed. Rustom is an intense film. I am too excited," said Ileana D'Cruz. Rustom, directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, also stars Arjan Bajwa and Esha Gupta
