Freida Pinto is excited about her upcoming mini-series with Idris Elba.
"I have no problem working in Hindi language films. In fact, I worked in a half Marwari film Trishna when I couldn't even speak the language. I had to learn it," she said. The thing is not that who is in the film. It's the story which is important for me," Freida Pinto said. Freida was recently speaking at an event where Google unveiled virtual exhibits -- "Women in India: Unheard stories"
"It's going to be a while for The Jungle Book. It will release in 2017. I am pretty excited about it because we all used to watch it on Doordarshan every Sunday. We loved watching it. Life kind of becomes full circle to participate in a project like that," said Freida Pinto
"I play Mowgli's adoptive mother, so I'm very, very excited about it. I read The Jungle Book and watched the TV series in India growing up, and for me, to finally be part of the film that reminds me so much of my childhood is just amazing," said Freida, who has worked with worked with Andy Serkis in Rise of the Planet of the Apes
