"Whatever roles I got, I did. I have played negative roles. I have played positive roles and even humorous ones. Whatever came in my way, I did that. In Piku, I showed my romantic side. Right now I'm trying to explore more of romantic films, which I really didn't get a chance to do earlier. I want to explore this genre," said Irrfan
"Last year, Mindy spoke to Irrfan about this comedy film and he had shown interest in collaborating with her. She is writing the script keeping Irrfan in mind. They are constantly in touch and also follow each other on Twitter," a source said. Irrfan's next Hollywood film is Inferno with Tom Hanks

Sushant Singh Rajput, meanwhile, will be seen in MS Dhoni - The Untold Story, a biopic on Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Fugly actress Kiara Advani plays M S Dhoni's wife Sakshi. Actor Anupam Kher portrays Dhoni's father. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film is scheduled to release on September 2
"Piku and Talvar have been special to me and I am happy that I have been nominated. I am pleased to be a part of them as they are important for me, the film industry and the audience," said Irrfan, who has been nominated for both roles in the upcoming TOIFA awards
Priyanka Chopra will voice the python Kaa. Irrfan Khan will dub for Baloo. Shefali Shah will be the desi voice of the wolf Raksha. Om Puri and Nana Patekar will provide their voice to Bagheera and the villainous tiger Shere Khan. The Jon Favreau-directed film releases in India on April 8
