Fauzia Arshi, director of Kader Khan's last film said that the actor has been in Canada for the last few months and is alright. Earlier in the day, it was reported that Mr Khan's health condition had deteriorated recently and he was reportedly rushed to Canada for treatment

Mr Bachchan, who was last seen in Bejoy Nambiar's Wazir, recently wrapped up Ribhu Dasgupta's Te3n. It also stars Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui
"Earlier, there was a certain honesty in these awards but it's not the same case now. People have now forgotten to respect others and have become way too selfish. I would think that I was not as capable as those who were chosen for the Padma awards this year. I, however, thank all those who proposed my name for it," Mr Khan said
