Comedian and actor Kapil Sharma shared an adorable picture with his girlfriend on Twitter. He wrote: "Will not say she is my better half. She completes me"
Manish Paul won the Best Anchor award for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa while Radhika Madan and Priyanshu Jora won the award for Best Fresh New Face for Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi and Tu Mera Hero, respectively. Kapil, who made his debut in Bollywood with Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, won the award under the category of Talk Show Host
Kapil Sharma's Bollywood debut Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon has made a shade less than the Rs 30 crores that were forecast in its first weekend. While box office receipts haven't totaled up to the lofty first weekend figures set by films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Baahubali, or even Brothers, Kapil Sharma has much to smile about
The comedy drama has minted a whopping Rs 18.75 crores just within two days of its release. Forecast has it that it should rake in Rs 30 crores over the opening weekend. "Phenomenal," says Mr Adarsh. The comedy movie with Kapil has reportedly broken the record previously held by Student Of The Year which scored Rs 7.5 crores on its opening day
The first day collections are higher than that of Brothers and Tanu Weds Manu Returns, but lesser than that of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, ABCD 2 and Welcome Back. The film has also outed Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty's much-hyped and aggressively-promoted Hero which scooped around Rs 6 crores on its first day
"Bollywood is famous all over the world. Not only is it recognised, but it also has a great following. In Sweden itself, Bollywood has a big fan base. There have been so many Greek adaptations of old Bollywood songs. In Stockholm, there is an Indian festival that is celebrated every year where Indian stories and culture is depicted beautifully," said Elli
In his debut film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, comedian Kapil Sharma's Shiv, Ram and Kishan are all the same man married to three women who live in the same building, oblivious to the fact that their husband is cheating on all of them
"Too much fun watching Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. @KapilSharmaK9 @varunsharma90 it's a laugh riot. Thanks for making me laugh so much. Abbas-Mastan love you both," SRK posted on twitter after watching the film in Hyderabad, where he is shooting for Rohit Shetty's Dilwale along with Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon
"I think good comedy films are less now, and since it is my first film, I did not want to be a saint or behave like a politician. People love me for making them laugh so that is what I wanted to do and have done in the film," Kapil said. "When you go for a comedy film, there is this guarantee that you will laugh. I think people always wait for comedy," he added
Kapil will make his debut in Bollywood with Abbas-Mustan's film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, which also features Elli Avram, Arbaaz Khan and Manjari Phadnis. The entire cast of the film including Elli and director duo Abbas-Mustan will attend the screening
Director Mustan of Abbas-Mustan duo said: "Our film got the copyright in the Film Writers Association in 2008 and these people (makers of Kannada film) have made their film in 2013." The film's lead actor Kapil Sharma added, "Whenever there is a film, which is releasing, certain allegations sprout up. I have not got the notice from anyone"
"I love Kangana Ranaut. I think she is just phenomenal because I think she has seen everything and comes from nowhere. She had no backing and whatever she is today, is on her own. She has seen her share of struggle and has also seen her ups and downs in life. She is very real," said Simran
