Twenty-four-year-old Nina Davuluri today became the first contestant of Indian heritage to win the Miss America pageant.
Nina Davuluri, the first Miss America of Indian-origin, has a degree in Brain Behaviour and Cognitive Medicine from University of Michigan. She plans to be apply to medical school with her prize money, and be a doctor like her father.
