In a statement, the makers announced that the first look poster and title of the Minjur Gopi-directed film will be revealed at midnight on Thursday
"We have only 30 minutes of a fantasy kingdom whereas Baahubali is set entirely in a fictional kingdom. So our scale is much smaller. We have only three major war scenes. Our budgets are also much lesser than Baahubali so you can't compare the two," said production and art designer Rajeevan
"I saw Anurag's rare combination of subtlety, intensity and unpredictability which is what I needed. The characteristics Anurag displayed were in sync with what I had written. He evokes such fear with his subtle and sheer villainy, making him the perfect choice," revealed Ajay
"Anurag will slug it out with Nayanthara, who will be seen as a police commissioner. It's going to be a very interesting role," a source said
"It's true we had approached Anurag, but nothing has been finalized yet. We're still waiting to hear back from him," Ajay told IANS

The movie is set to release on Diwali next month. "It's a multi-genre film. It's got adventure, action, horror, comedy. The film, when it came up, it was a huge budgeted film, and I was wondering whether we could even pull it off," Karthi told PTI.
The film, which will be directed by Vignesh Shivan, will be called Thaanaa SerndhaKoottam, tweeted Suriya on Wednesday
