Talking about the story of the film Farhan said, "Being the sequel of Rock On!! the story of the film revolves around the earlier characters but with different twist and turns. It is the continuous journey of the band - Magik."

I don't think anybody else could be have been Joy or anybody could have been Jiya or Adi or Sakshi, and you have to watch the film to believe what each one brings to it," said Prachi Desai

The wait for much awaited biopic on cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin is over. The film starring Emraan Hasmi in titular role hits the screen today. The film chronicles the rise and fall of Azharuddin in the realm of sports. The film also stars actress Prachi Desai as Azharuddin's first wife Naureen and Nargis Fakhri as his second wife Sangeeta Bijlani

"It's not like I want to be like this but it's the kind of roles I keep getting over and over again. I blame it on lack of choices. I think filmmakers need to offer me more interesting stuff and I feel that they need to see the real person in me," she said

Azhar, which is a biopic of cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin, stars Emraan Hashmi in the titular role. Emraan presented the first look of the film to Azhar as a 53rd birthday gift on February 8 this year. Directed by Tony D'Souza, the cast of Azhar also includes Prachi Desai

"There is a history of what happened in the first film. But there is nothing really from the first film that is carried forward into this film," said Farhan. Directed by Shujaat Saudagar, Rock On 2!! also stars Arjun Rampal, Prachi Desai and Purab Kohli from the previous instalment

At an event in Mumbai, Prachi revealed that the shooting for Rock On 2!! had partly begun and the first schedule of Azhar was 'done'. "It's pretty exciting. I'm doing two very diverse films and diverse roles," she said

"The news is completely untrue and baseless. I was never approached by Bigg Boss and I am not a part of it," said Prachi, who was last seen in Policegiri opposite Sanjay Dutt. Bigg Boss, which is back with its ninth season, has Salman Khan as the show's host
