"I don't think Sarbjit will get banned in Pakistan because it gives a good message. We are not trying to say who's right who's wrong. We are trying to show the reality that Sarbjit was misunderstood, the way he was treated that we have showed in the film," said Darshan Kumar
The actor shaved his moustache in a video, bidding 'goodbye' to his character in the chaste Punjabi dialect that he has adopted for his role in the film. Sarbjit also co-stars Aishwarya as Randeep's sister. Richa Chadha plays his wife. The film releases on May 20

On Monday, BJP president Amit Shah will launch the first poster of the film in presence of Omung Kumar and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The film stars Randeep Hooda in the titular role. The actor knocked off 18 kgs for the part. Aishwarya plays Dalbir Kaur, Sarabjit's sister in the film
Aishwarya, who stars as Sarbjit's sister Dalbir Kaur in the movie, is reportedly, filming in Attari, a village in Punjab. She is seen posing for a selfie with a Border Security Force jawan in a picture. Aishwarya's first look from the movie was released earlier in February

Charles Sobhraj is currently in a jail in Nepal, having been convicted for his numerous brutal murders in the 1970s. He was even convicted and jailed in India from 1976 to 1997. Directed by Prawaal Raman, Main Aur Charles is scheduled to release on October 30
"I have little or no interest in who are cast in the film. That is director's job. Once they (co-actors) are on the job, then it is my job. Before that I am not worried or nervous about doing this. It wouldn't matter to me," he said, when asked if he is excited or nervous working with Aishwarya.
"Yes, they have approached me for a role and I will be doing it. However, at this point of time legalities and paper work is being done. It's true I am offered the role to play Randeep's wife and I will sign on the dotted lines soon. It's an interesting role and can't wait to talk more on the same"
