Robot Villain

Sudhanshu Pandey, who has worked with Akshay Kumar in films like Khiladi 420 and Singh Is Kinng, plays the second villain in Rajinikanths 2.0. He plays Danny Denzongpas (who was killed by Chitti, the Robot) son in the film

"We will talk about it when the film is ready. Right now I have no authority to say anything. Do you want me to be out of contract on this film?" said Akshay Kumar. Reports say that Akshay plays the bad guy in the film but we will know for sure only once the Khiladi himself is ready to talk about it

"Shankar had come to me and he wanted me to play the villain in Robot. I called Rajini. He said, 'People will not accept you as a villain, so don't do it'. I said, Okay,- Amitabh Bachchan said in an interview in Mumbai

Akshay Kumar announced the project on microblogging site Twitter and wrote: Ending the year on a high note! Super excited to be a part of Robot 2 with the one and only Rajinikanth sir." He also shared a picture in which he posed with Rajinikanth, the film's director Shankar and music composer A R Rahman

Rajini has worked overtime in Endhiran. He is the not just the hero of the film, he also plays the comic role and the villain of the film.
