The film has made Rs 11 crores, making it Shahid Kapoor's biggest opening day film. With a destination wedding as the backdrop, the plot revolves around the the brewing romance between a wedding organiser Jagjinder Joginder (Shahid Kapoor) and the bride's sister Alia (Alia Bhatt).

"The most superior technology that I've met in my life is Alia Bhatt because she has information about everything. If there was any name that the internet should have, it should be Alia because of her vast information. So, Alia Bhatt is the technology I enjoy the most," said Shahid.

Moviegoers are all set to have a Shaandaar weekend as Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor latest film hits the screen on October 22. The film, with its story backed a destination wedding theme promises great fun and quirky songs. Other than that Telugu film Kanche also hits the screens today

So how far has marriage disciplined the actor? "Well if you want to know if Mira controls me or I control her, well I'm totally controlled by my wife," Shahid said with a wink. Shahid married Delhi-girl Mira Rajput in July this year. He also talks about the one thing that he wants to change about himself

"I knew that I wanted to become an actor since childhood and trained myself to become one. It is my dream though my parents were very strict about my education and they wanted me to earn my degrees. After finishing my education, I got a call from Mukesh Chhabra's office," said Sanah

"The scenic beauty of the location made me do more jogging and exercising in fresh air. So it eased me a lot for the bikini shoot. In Mumbai, we hardly get so much open space and fresh air to exercise. It was a really wonderful experience for me," said Alia
