Someone crown this man King of Twitter already. Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag may have stepped off the cricket pitch a while ago but he's bowling not just maidens but everybody over on his preferred playing field these days - Twitter.

Twitter is reserving some of its breath for rejoinders to her posts about badminton star PV Sindhu, who prevailed over Japan's Nozomi Okuhara in the Olympic women's singles semi-final in Rio on Thursday.

In a tweet late Tuesday, singer Abhijeet described Ms De as 'shameless' and said she was 'abusing and cursing (her) own motherland.' It began an argument with Sonam, 31, who red-flagged the tweet as being hypocritical. Abhijeet, known for his right-wing views, is being investigated by the police for abusive tweets against a female journalist
