Filmmaker Sonam Nair, who made her directorial debut with Gippi, will now helm a sex comedy under Dharma Productions.
Two comedy films will clash at the box-office today. Go Goa Gone is a zombie comedy directed by filmmaker duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, and Gippi is a comedy of errors from Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
Director Karan Malhotra, who made his debut with Dharma Productions' Agneepath last year, hopes Gippi proves that Karan Johar's banner can even make good quality small-budget films.
Debutant director Sonam Nair, whose first film is Gippi, says she will always make films that are close to life and its realities.
