Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff took turns to share the teaser posters of the movie for each other on their respective birthdays. "Girl power! Shraddha Kapoor show them how it's done, happy birthday my hero! #Baaghi #BeARebel," Tiger wrote on Twitter on Thursday
The teaser poster shows Tiger giving a stern look with a matchstick between his teeth with 'Be A Rebel' written on it. Baaghi stars actress Shraddha Kapoor opposite Tiger and is slated to release on April 29. The film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is directed by Sabbir Khan, his second collaboration with Tiger after Heropanti
"And we are done. It's a wrap on #Baaghi. Thank you to every single person on the film ... This was a bloody tough one but we made it!" wrote director Sabbir Khan. "Mixed feelings..happy and sad.. Another journey comes to an end. Another wait begins," wrote Shraddha
"We know each other since childhood and were in the same school as well. When we were kids, our parents would throw birthday parties, and there would be dance competitions in it. So Tiger would also be there. I used to always win as a kid, but now he has taken off, and how," said Shraddha Kapoor
"I'm aware of my popularity in Telugu cinema and I'm getting plenty of offers to choose from. But Baaghi was a project I couldn't say no to. Though I've done some good roles in Telugu films, but never have I done an interesting character with such shades," said Sudheer Babu
"She has a friend who is a photographer and they keep experimenting with different photographs. And people go ballistic. But they don't write about how she is training little girls to play basketball. She is a coach right now. That's what she has been doing now and before she was teaching kindergarten kids," he said
"We are working on two-three ideas with Sajid Nadiadwala. We have already signed Tiger for the film. We are working on a script. It is a light hearted comedy film. Yunus Sajawal (writer) is working on it," said Ahmed Khan
Akshay Kumar took along Heropanti actor Tiger Shroff as a special guest to attend his 7th International Kudo Championship. Kudo, for the uninitiated, is a mix of karate, judo, kick-boxing, Muay Thai and combat sports. Akshay also posted snippets from the tournament, in which Tiger can be seen performing some spectacular stunts
"I wanted to be a good dancer like Hrithik in my childhood. I am playing a superhero in A Flying Jatt and I hope that I could do justice to the role. Though I don't even think about competing with Hrithik Roshan and what he did in Krrish, but I will not let down the makers of A Flying Jatt," Tiger said
"Nathan Jones plays the villain and was asked to wear a 10-kg live motor as one of his weapons. But we thought it would be difficult both for him and us during the shoot. So, we decided to give him a fake tool that would later be given an authentic look through special effects. But Nathan insisted on wearing a real one"
If Flying Jatt's look reminds you of Hrithik Roshan's Krrish, you are not alone. An Instagram post from Tiger Shroff hints at the new superhero's troubled past. He writes: "Keep the fire burning within and no matter how strong the demon of darkness is it will never consume you"
Shraddha will share screen space with the Heropanti actor for the first time in Baaghi. After Heropanti, this is Tiger's second film with the director. Whereas, Shraddha last featured in the hugely successful Prabhu Deva dance drama ABCD 2 with Varun Dhawan
