So far, the team at YRF has been quite 'carefree' but a source has revealed that the Board may be gearing up to chop significant portions from the song, and maybe the film itself
"Though many top actresses were vying for the highly coveted role, it was Katrina who bagged it. The film is tailor -made for her to shine as she has been cast opposite Salman. Katrina also shares a great equation with Aditya Chopra and his team at YRF," sources said. "She would do some hardcore action in the film for which she will begin training soon," they added
Shah Rukh Khan's Fan and Salman Khan's Sultan, both by Yash Raj Films (YRF), will be screened at the Busan International Film Festival
"That (reboot) is not Darr. It might be inspired or have similarities to the original but it's not Darr. Such films don't get remakes; people just get inspired by them to make something."
The two are still there, as 'Befikre' as ever. But guess what? They're not kissing in this one.
What remains to be revealed is whether the film will continue the story from the point where the makers left the last and if Katrina Kaif will reprise her role.
In spite of their distinguished filmographies and string of admired performances, the two actors have never worked together before.
"I speak Bengali with my family in the film, but yes there are certain mannerisms, words, way of speaking, body language and the clothes I am wearing, that have to look natural. It's not as difficult as playing a Bengali in a Bengali film. In a Hindi film, I have to just see and take care of my nuances," Ayushmann said in a statement
"I got a call from Yash Raj Films (YRF) for a role in Mardaani. They wanted me to audition for a role of a villain (and) I found the part interesting. But then they (YRF) called up saying they have got a young villain and wanted me to play a police officer. I was not keen on playing that role"
Salman Khan recently expressed his desire to work in a film which offers him a full-fledged negative role. He has also reportedly been in talks with YRF to star in the next Dhoom film
