Shashi Kapoor was cremated with state honours at the Santa Cruz crematorium on Tuesday with a three-gun salute by Mumbai Police. Shashi Kapoor's body was wrapped in the tricolour. The legendary actor died at 79 leaving behind a crowd of bereaved fans. While Mumbai woke up to a gloomy, drenched Tuesday, Shashi Kapoor's final rites began and his funeral was attended by Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and other stars.
