Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was in Delhi recently, spoke about the gems in her life, upcoming films and her views on AIB Roast. Kareena said that her niece and nephew are the gems of her life. Talking about the AIB controversy, she said, "I really have no interest in watching it. India has better and far more important things to worry about than AIB."
The roast of actors Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor, hosted by comedy group AIB, isn't available for online viewing anymore. But there's new trouble for the organisers.
AIB Roast has created quite a stir on social media. While many took to Twitter to defend or criticise the show, actress Sonam Kapoor, whose cousin Arjun Kapoor was a part of the roast, has refrained from commenting on it. She said, "Once I see the video then I will comment. After all it is my brother, but I won't comment until I see it."
Stepping into a row over an expletive-laced, no-holds barred "roast" of two film stars, the Maharashtra government said it could take action. "If the AIB roast was vulgar and not in accordance with the law, then we will act," said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
You may not like the dirty jokes on the AIB Roast. But, should they really have a police case filed against them? Do we lack a sense of humour?
