Director Sriram Raghavan revealed how actor Varun Dhawan landed Raghu's role in his thriller film Badlapur. "When I met Varun, he was a newcomer with a lot of energy. I knew that he was David Dhawan's son and Rohit's brother, so I knew he had certain excitement for movies. His response, when we narrated the story to him, was such that we thought, 'Why not him'," he said.
